ORLANDO, Fla. – Five members of the Lynn men's and women's track teams competed at the UCF Knight Invite over the weekend. The Fighting Knights took home a pair of top-two finishes.
On the men's side,
Paul Mosley placed second in the 100 Meter Dash with a time of 10.33 – setting another DII provisional in the event. In the 800 Meter Run,
Luke Sweatman finished in second out of 39 competitors with a time of 1:51.38, a quarter-second off the lead.
Collin Clark finished sixth in the 400 Meter Dash in 46.72, setting a DII provisional, while
Justin Dewar was 29
th (49.22) and
Denzel Rigaud finished 32
nd (50.49). In the 400 Meter Hurdles, Rigaud placed 12
th in 55.32.
Mira Akan ran for the women, placing 18
th in the 400 Meter Hurdles in 105:68.
Lynn will run next on Friday, May 2 at North Florida in Jacksonville.
