BOCA RATON, Fla. – The No. 1 ranked Lynn volleyball team hit .313 with 37 kills to go along with nine aces and six blocks in a 3-0 sweep of Lee, Saturday evening. The victory is the eighth 3-0 shutout on the young season.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn won by scores of 25-15, 25-19 and 25-14
- The Fighting Knights registered 37 kills with 34 assists and held the Flames to a .033 hitting percentage with 24 kills and 21 attack errors.
- Lynn hit .243 in the first set and smacked 10 kills against just one error
- The hosts limited the Flames to a -0.073 hitting percentage with 10 attack errors
- Lee held leads of 4-1 and 8-4 before the hosts rallied for the win

Aline Olegario posted a kill and a block and kills from
Nadia Rossi and
Brooke Jackson secured a 12-11 lead
- Olegario added two late kills while Jackson and
Laney Wilson secured the 25-15 win with a block
- The Fighting Knights registered 16 kills and hit .324 in the second
- Lynn broke a 6-6 tie in the second set with a 6-1 run highlighted by two kills each from Olegario and
Ula Gorjup

Valentina Mogg posted a solo block and smacked a kill and Lynn took advantage of two errors on Lee for a 22-15 cushion
- Mogg added another two kills to give the Fighting Knights a 25-19 set-two victory
- The hosts closed the night with 11 kills and a .409 hitting percentage
- A service ace from Gorjup and a kill from Rossi pushed Lynn to a 4-0 lead in the third set
- The Fighting Knights collected a 7-1 run in the middle part of the set for a 15-6 edge
- Olegario and
Lillia Neill posted a kill for a 22-11 lead and Gorup added the final kill of the match for a 25-14 win in the third set
FIGHTING KNIGHT STATS:
- Olegario hit .500 with nine kills
- Neill smacked six kills and hit .545 with two blocks
- Jackson finished with five kills, four service aces and eight digs
- Rossi and Mogg combined for 13 kills and nine digs
