BOCA RATON, Fla. – Lynn women's soccer fell to No. 15 Nova Southeastern by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday evening. The Fighting Knights are now 1-3-3 overall this season and 0-1-1 in SSC play.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The teams went into the half scoreless as the Sharks outshot Lynn 8-0 over the first 45
- Lynn goalkeeper
Emma Brunelli made four saves in the opening frame
- The Blue and White were offsides on two early chances to start the second half
- NSU scored its first goal in the 54
th minute on a shot to the left by Sofia Suarez
- Five minutes later, the Sharks tallied another goal off a long pass to make the score 2-0
- At the 61-minute mark, K'la Barnes-Blackwood fired a shot wide right
- Brunelli made another save in the 66
th minute
