ORLANDO, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference released its weekly awards on Monday and Lynn guard
Trinity Mocadlo was named Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
Mocadlo averaged 26.5 points per game on 49% shooting in two contests, while also shooting 40% from three-point range. She added 3.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 3.0 steals and 0.5 blocks per game during the week.
The junior turned in a career performance on Wednesday, setting career highs with 34 points and five steals in a double-overtime win over Florida Tech. Her three-pointer in the second overtime gave Lynn a lead it would not relinquish, igniting a decisive 13-0 run in which she accounted for seven points, one assist and one steal.
In Saturday's road loss at No. 18 Embry-Riddle, Mocadlo finished with 19 points on just 12 field-goal attempts.
Mocadlo currently leads the Sunshine State Conference with 266 total points this season and is averaging 18.1 points per game in league play. She has elevated her production to 25.8 points per game over her last four contests.
