BOCA RATON, Fla. – Lynn University men's swimming senior Maxim Tsyfarov has been named the Sunshine State Conference (SSC) Men's Swimmer of the Week following a dominant performance in the Fighting Knights' 165-39 victory over Barry on Saturday, Oct. 10.
He becomes the second Lynn men's swimmer to earn the weekly honor this season, joining teammate
Paolo Agogeri, who received the recognition following the Fighting Knights' season-opening meet against Nova Southeastern.
Tsyfarov collected three first-place finishes against the Buccaneers, including two individual victories, to help lead the Blue and White to a commanding conference win.
The senior opened his afternoon as a member of Lynn's winning 400-yard medley relay team alongside
Xavier Washington,
