BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Lynn University women's soccer team suffered a 4-0 setback to Eckerd in Sunshine State Conference action on Saturday evening at Bobby Campbell Stadium. The Fighting Knights entered halftime trailing by just one before the Tritons added three goals in the second half to pull away. Lynn placed five of its eight shots on goal, while
Emma Brunelli recorded three saves as the Fighting Knights were held scoreless for the second time at home this season.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Brunelli was tested less than a minute into the match, making an early save to keep Eckerd off the board

Alex Rigg generated Lynn's first opportunity in the second minute with a blocked shot that led to the Fighting Knights' first corner kick
- Eckerd opened the scoring at 3:04, finding the top-left corner to take an early 1-0 advantage

Stella Fedyunin sent an attempt off target in the 10th minute before
Kayla Bradby forced a save with a shot toward the top-right corner just over a minute later
- Lynn earned its second corner kick following Bradby's opportunity as the Fighting Knights continued to search for an equalizer
