Ula Gorjup continued her impressive run on Monday, earning Sunshine State Conference Setter of the Week honors for the second consecutive week following a dominant road weekend for the Fighting Knights.
Gorjup directed a highly efficient Lynn attack as the Fighting Knights swept Rollins and Embry-Riddle to finish a perfect 2-0 on the road without dropping a set. The junior handed out 71 assists across six sets, averaging an impressive 11.83 assists per set, while helping Lynn hit .304 and average 14.33 kills per set over the two victories.
The Ljubljana, Slovenia native opened the weekend with 35 assists in Friday night's sweep of Rollins, averaging 11.67 assists per set while guiding the Fighting Knights to a .338 team hitting percentage. Lynn saved its best offensive performance for the final frame, hitting .500 as it closed out the Tars in straight sets.
Gorjup followed with another outstanding all-around performance Saturday afternoon at Embry-Riddle, handing out 36 assists in just three sets for an average of 12.00 per set. She also put away five kills on seven error-free attacks for a blistering .714 hitting percentage while adding five digs, two service aces and a block in the 25-19, 25-18, 25-19 victory.
Saturday also marked a major career milestone for Gorjup, who surpassed 2,000 career assists during the victory over the Eagles.
For the weekend, Gorjup finished with 71 assists, five kills on .444 hitting, three service aces, eight digs and three blocks as Lynn improved to 13-2 overall and 5-1 in Sunshine State Conference play. The Fighting Knights have now won five consecutive matches, with each of their last three victories coming in straight sets.
The honor marks Gorjup's second consecutive SSC Setter of the Week award and her third conference weekly honor of the 2026 season.
