BOCA RATON, Fla. - The No. 20 Lynn University women's tennis team came up just short against No. 2 Nova Southeastern at the Perper Tennis Complex, falling 4-3 in a tightly contested Sunshine State Conference matchup on Monday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Nova Southeastern claimed the doubles point, winning two of the three flights to take the early 1-0 advantage
- At No. 2 doubles,
Salma Djoubri and
Lea Cakarevic earned a 6-4 victory over Chloe Henderson and Noemie Dadoun
- The Sharks won three of six singles matches courts to clinch the match
- Djoubri picked up a strong three-set win at No. 1 singles to remain undefeated this season, defeating Kristyna Hranacova 6-2, 5-7, 6-2
- Garcia added another point for Lynn at No. 4 singles with a convincing 6-3, 6-2 victory over Amina Sagadiyeva

Kristen Younes earned a hard-fought three-set victory at No. 2 singles, defeating Katja Markus 7-6 (7-4, tiebreaker), 4-6, 6-1

Carla Galmiche dropped a three-set decision at No. 3 singles, 6-4, 4-6, 4-6
- Cakarevic was edged 6-1, 7-5 at No. 5 singles
- Koshiki Mosimann rounded out the lineup at No. 6, falling 6-0, 6-0
