LAKELAND, Fla. - The Lynn University women's golf team turned in an impressive third-place finish at the 2026 Lady Moc Classic at Grasslands Golf & Country Club, highlighted by two top-10 individual performances and dominant play on the par 5s.

The Blue and White closed the tournament at 907 (+43) to place third in a 15-team field that featured 11 programs ranked in the Clippd Top 25 poll. Lynn was just 11 strokes behind tournament champion Barry (+32).

Scarlet Weidig led the way with a T-7 finish at +7, while
Amelia Ruiz Topali followed closely with a T-9 finish at +8.

Lynn led the entire field in par-5 scoring (4.83, -10), tied for second in total birdies with 33, and recorded one eagle during the event. The Fighting Knights also posted one of the best final rounds in the field at +5, matching Barry and finishing just one stroke behind Tampa (+4) on the final day.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Weidig paced the Fighting Knights with a T-7 finish at +7, shooting 74 in the first two rounds and a 75 in the final round
- She ranked among the tournament's best on the par 5s, posting a 4.50 scoring average (-6) while totaling 11 birdies and an eagle
- Ruiz Topali finished +8 for the tournament, battling back into the top 10 with one of the lowest scores of the final round
- She caught fire late on the front nine with three consecutive birdies on holes 7–9 and went on to shoot a 70 (-2) for the round
- Ruiz Topali was also a key part of Lynn's par-5 success, averaging 4.75 (-3) on those holes

Emilia Koskinen placed T-20 at +13 with rounds of 75 and 76 in the final two rounds, highlighted by strong par-5 play of her own at 4.83 (-2)

Vanessa Ramirez opened the tournament with rounds of 83 and 76 before bouncing back in the final round with an even-par performance to finish at +15 overall
- She also posted one of the top par-5 scoring averages in the field at 4.58 (-5).

Leelou Girault rounded out Lynn's team scoring at +24, highlighted by a 76 (+4) in her final round
