CLINTON, Miss. - The Lynn University women's tennis team fell to No. 1 West Alabama, 4–1, on Monday afternoon.
The Fighting Knights move to 6-4 overall this season.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- West Alabama secured the doubles point with wins on courts one and three to take the early 1-0 advantage

Salma Djoubri earned Lynn's lone point of the match with a dominant performance at No. 1 singles, defeating Shaira Rivera in straight sets, 6-1, 6-2

Meadow Garcia battled in a tight contest at No. 3 singles but ultimately fell 6-7, 2-6
- At No. 4 singles,
Carla Galmiche fought hard against Jenaila Prulla but dropped the match 4-6, 0-6
- West Alabama clinched the match with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over
Hailey Lizano at No. 5 singles
- Several remaining matches went unfinished after the result was decided
