ORLANDO, Fla. - The Lynn University men's tennis team delivered a strong performance on Sunday afternoon, sweeping Middle Georgia State University 4-0 after securing the doubles point and three singles victories to clinch the match.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Fighting Knights claimed the doubles point by winning two of the three courts
- Makke extended Lynn's lead with a strong 6-1, 6-3 victory at No. 1 singles
- Makke's win at No. 1 singles was especially notable as he defeated a UTR 12.89 opponent, marking a significant victory for the Fighting Knights
- Aymen Alimoussa earned a 7-6, 6-3 victory in the fourth flight
- Santino Morel clinched the match for the Fighting Knights with a 6-3, 6-2 victory in No. 5 singles
