BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Lynn University men's tennis team battled throughout but fell just short in a 4-2 decision against Keiser on Wednesday afternoon at the Perper Tennis Complex.
The Fighting Knights move to 8-7 on the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn claimed the doubles point with wins on courts one and three to take an early 1-0 lead
- In singles,
Victor Alves delivered a strong performance at No. 3, earning a straight-sets victory, 7-5, 6-1, to give Lynn its second point
- Makke opened with a 6-4 first-set win at No. 1 singles before his opponent rallied to take the next two sets, 6-4, 1-6, 0-6
- Keiser secured the clinching point to close out the match
