Evan Joseph and junior hurdler
Jayden Geathers delivered standout performances to pace the Lynn University men's track and field team to a tie for eighth place out of 20 teams at the Eagle Invite at Embry-Riddle on Saturday. Joseph recorded a pair of top-four finishes in the 200 and 400 meters, while Geathers added points in the 110m hurdles and helped anchor Lynn's relay efforts as the Fighting Knights produced several personal-best performances throughout the day.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
100 Meters

Andre Nembhard led the Fighting Knights with a 35th-place overall finish, clocking 11.42 while competing in the sixth section of the event

Jordan Klim followed with a 37th-place result, crossing the line in 11.49 in the seventh section

200 Meters

Evan Joseph delivered the top performance for the Fighting Knights, finishing fourth overall with a time of 21.45 (personal-best) in the opening section to earn six team points

Abraham Ater followed with an 18th-place finish, clocking 22.43 in the first section
- Klim recorded a 25th-place result, crossing the line in 22.86 (personal record) in the fifth section
- Nembhard rounded out the Lynn competitors with a 29th-place finish, posting a time of 22.94 in the fourth section

- Joseph led the Fighting Knights with a fourth-place overall finish, clocking 48.29 (personal record) in the top section to earn six team points

- Lynn had seven runners compete in the 800 meters, spread across the final two sections of the event
- Gusmano led the Fighting Knights, finishing 38th overall with a time of 2:04.96 in the fourth section
- Powers followed closely behind, placing 40th overall in 2:05.56

- Lynn was represented in the 1500 meters by Almeida, Ruggiero and Juliano, all competing in the third section of the event
- Almeida paced the Fighting Knights with a 22nd-place overall finish, crossing the line in 4:20.54 while winning his heat
- Ruggiero followed with a 27th-place result, posting a time of 4:31.39
- Juliano rounded out the Lynn competitors with a 30th-place finish, recording a time of 4:46.80
