WINTER PARK, Fla. - The Lynn University men's tennis team wrapped up its Sunshine State Conference schedule against No. 6 Rollins on Monday afternoon, falling 6-1.
With the result, the Fighting Knights move to 10-8 overall and conclude conference play with a 3-4 record.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Rollins secured an early advantage by sweeping all three doubles matches to claim a 1-0 lead
- David Cortimiglia and
Louay Makke battled in the No. 1 doubles flight but fell 6-3
- In singles play, Makke delivered a resilient performance at the top position, forcing three sets before narrowly falling 0-6, 7-6 (7-2), 3-6
- Alves dropped a 6-4, 6-1 decision in the second flight
- Alimoussa secured the Fighting Knights' lone point with an impressive 6-3, 6-4 victory at No. 3 singles

Santino Morel battled in the fourth flight but came up short, 7-5, 6-4
- Ostheimer showed determination at No. 5 singles, forcing a decisive third set before falling 6-3, 3-6, 6-3
- Cortimiglia competed in the sixth flight, dropping a 6-2, 6-4 decision
