VALDOSTA, Ga. - The No. 23 Lynn University men's tennis team secured a road victory on Friday afternoon, defeating Valdosta State, 4-2 in the penultimate game of the regular season.
Louay Makke delivered a clutch performance at No. 1 singles, while
Aymen Alimoussa added a straight-sets win to help guide the Fighting Knights to the win.
With the victory, Lynn improved to 11-8 overall.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 flights
- Makke extended Lynn's lead with a gritty 6-3, 7-6 victory at No. 1 singles
- Alimoussa added another point with a commanding 6-3, 6-4 win in the third flight
