TAMPA, Fla. - The sixth-seeded Lynn University women's lacrosse team went toe-to-toe with No. 3 seed Tampa in the Sunshine State Conference Tournament quarterfinals on Saturday afternoon, holding even through three quarters before ultimately falling 17-11.
The Fighting Knights wrap up their season at 9-7 overall after a determined performance that showcased resilience and balance against one of the conference's top teams.
