INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The NCAA Division II Women's Golf Committee has selected the Lynn Fighting Knights to compete in the 2026 NCAA Division II Women's Golf South Regional. Head coach
Keith Larson's team will tee off May 4-6 at Cleveland Country Club in Cleveland, Tenn., with Lee University serving as the host.
Lynn enters the regional ranked No. 6 nationally and No. 4 in the South Region. The Fighting Knights have competed in 10 stroke play events this season, posting a 74-34-1 record, five top-three finishes and a 293.9 adjusted scoring average over 29 rounds.
The Blue and White are coming off a runner-up finish at the Sunshine State Conference Championship, where they finished second out of 10 teams at +29. Lynn also placed second at the NCAA DII South Regional Preview, second at the National Preview, third at the Lady Moc Classic and second at the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational.
The Fighting Knights are led by
Amelia Ruiz Topali, who enters regionals ranked No. 16 nationally and No. 10 regionally with a 72.9 adjusted scoring average. The junior standout has played all 29 rounds for Lynn this season and owns one top-three finish, highlighted by a runner-up performance at the SSC Championship.
Emilia Koskinen has also been a steady force for the Fighting Knights, ranking No. 30 nationally and No. 18 regionally with a 73.6 adjusted scoring average. The sophomore golfer has played 29 rounds and closed the regular season strong, tying for fifth at the SSC Championship and finishing 11th at the Lynn Invite.
Scarlet Weidig brings veteran experience and consistency to the lineup, entering the regional ranked No. 73 nationally and No. 41 in the region. The sixth-year player carries a 74.6 adjusted scoring average and has produced several strong finishes, including seventh at the Lady Moc Classic, ninth at the South Regional Preview and 13th at both the World Golf Invitational and Buccaneer Invitational.
Vanessa Ramirez has made an immediate impact in her first season with the Fighting Knights, ranking No. 102 nationally and No. 59 regionally with a 74.8 adjusted scoring average. Ramirez has competed in all 29 rounds and owns top-12 finishes at the National Preview, Buccaneer Invitational and Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational.
Leelou Girault rounds out the Lynn lineup with a 75.7 adjusted scoring average over 26 rounds. The second-year golfer has delivered key performances throughout the season, including a 13th-place finish at the National Preview and a 14th-place showing at the SSC Championship.
The South Regional field will once again be loaded with national contenders, featuring 18 teams, including No. 1 Wingate, No. 3 Anderson, No. 5 Nova Southeastern, No. 6 Lynn, No. 7 Lander, No. 10 Barry, No. 11 Tampa, No. 12 Lee, No. 13 Flagler and No. 14 Florida Southern.
