BOCA RATON, Fla. - Lynn University men's tennis sophomore
Louay Makke has earned Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-American honors in singles following a standout 2025-26 season for the Fighting Knights.Â
ITA All-American recognition is awarded to Division II singles players who finish in the top 20 of the final ITA National Singles Rankings.Â
Makke, a sophomore from Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, secured All-American honors after serving as one of the anchors of the Fighting Knights' lineup throughout the season. He competed exclusively in the No. 1 singles flight and entered postseason play ranked No. 21 nationally in the ITA singles rankings while posting a 12-7 singles record.Â
The All-American honor adds to an already impressive season for Makke, who was named Second Team All-Sunshine State Conference in singles. He delivered key performances against elite competition and helped set the tone at the top of Lynn's lineup during a demanding schedule that included 14 matches against nationally ranked opponents and seven against regionally ranked teams.
