Lynn men’s soccer announces 2026 schedule

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Fresh off another Sunshine State Conference Tournament championship and a run to the NCAA Division II South Regional Final, the Lynn University men's soccer team has announced its 2026 schedule, head coach John Rootes revealed. The Fighting Knights will play 13 regular-season matches, including six home contests at Bobby Campbell Stadium and seven road games.

Lynn enters the 2026 campaign looking to build on a remarkable 2025 season in which the Fighting Knights finished 14-3-2 overall and 7-2-1 in Sunshine State Conference play. The Blue and White spent the first six weeks of the season ranked No. 1 nationally, captured the SSC Tournament championship on their home field and advanced to the NCAA South Regional Final.

The 2026 season begins on Thursday, Aug. 27, when Lynn welcomes Mississippi College to Boca Raton in a rematch of last season's NCAA Third Round contest. Three days later, the Fighting Knights travel to Young Harris before embarking on another challenging road swing with non-conference matches at Emory & Henry (Sept. 6) and Lincoln Memorial (Sept. 8).

Sunshine State Conference play opens on Wednesday, Sept. 16, as Lynn hosts conference rival Nova Southeastern in the first conference matchup of the year. The Fighting Knights then head to Florida Southern (Sept. 19) and Florida Tech (Sept. 23) before returning home to face Rollins on Sept. 30.

October features another demanding stretch through one of Division II's toughest conferences. Lynn opens the month at Eckerd (Oct. 3) before hosting Saint Leo (Oct. 10). A trip to Barry on Oct. 14 precedes one of the marquee home matches of the season when the Fighting Knights welcome Tampa to Bobby Campbell Stadium on Oct. 17. Lynn closes its home slate against Palm Beach Atlantic on Oct. 21 before wrapping up the regular season at Embry-Riddle on Oct. 24.

The schedule includes several familiar opponents from Lynn's successful 2025 campaign. The Fighting Knights posted victories over Mississippi College, Nova Southeastern, Florida Tech, Saint Leo and Barry a season ago, while also claiming the SSC Tournament title with wins over Saint Leo, Florida Tech and Rollins.

With another challenging non-conference slate and the always-competitive Sunshine State Conference schedule, the Fighting Knights will once again be tested throughout the fall as they pursue another conference championship and return trip to the NCAA Tournament.

The 2026 SSC Tournament and NCAA Championship brackets will be announced following the conclusion of the regular season.
