BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Lynn University women's golf team once again proved its excellence extends beyond the golf course, finishing with the second-highest team grade point average among all NCAA Division II programs, as announced by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA).
 
The Fighting Knights posted a remarkable 3.841 team GPA during the 2025-26 academic year, ranking second nationally among Division II programs and trailing only Catawba College (3.843) by just two-thousandths of a point. Lynn also finished ahead of fellow Sunshine State Conference member and third-place finisher Texas A&M-Kingsville (3.840).
 
The WGCA All-Scholar Team GPA Award recognizes the women's collegiate golf programs with the highest cumulative team grade point averages, calculated using all student-athletes on each team's roster during the 2025-26 season.
 
The academic distinction adds to another outstanding year for Keith Larson's program, which also enjoyed success on the course. The Fighting Knights finished second at the Sunshine State Conference Championship, advanced to the NCAA South Regional, and produced WGCA All-America and All-SSC honorees while continuing to set the standard for excellence both competitively and academically.
 
Lynn's runner-up national finish further reinforces the program's longstanding commitment to developing student-athletes who excel in the classroom while competing at one of the highest levels in NCAA Division II women's golf.
