Fighting Knight volleyball unveils 2026 schedule

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Lynn University head women's volleyball coach Travis Nichols has announced the Fighting Knights' 2026 schedule, featuring 30 regular-season matches, three early-season tournaments and a full slate of Sunshine State Conference competition.
 
The Fighting Knights will play 12 matches before opening SSC play, including tournaments hosted by Bentley, Barry and the annual Hyatt Place Bash at the Beach, co-hosted by Lynn and Palm Beach Atlantic. Lynn's 30-match schedule consists of 15 home contests, 12 conference matches and 10 matches against teams that qualified for the 2025 NCAA Tournament.
 
Lynn opens the season at the Sandy Hoffman Memorial Tournament in Waltham, Massachusetts, beginning Friday, Aug. 28, with a pair of neutral-site matches against Central Missouri and Grand Valley State before closing the tournament against host Bentley on Aug. 29.
 
The Fighting Knights remain on the road the following weekend for the Barry University Invitational in Miami Shores, taking on Lubbock Christian, St. Cloud State and Converse from Sept. 4-5.
 
Lynn makes its home debut at the Hyatt Place Bash at the Beach on Sept. 11-12 inside the de Hoernle Sports Center. The Fighting Knights welcome Trevecca Nazarene, Fort Valley State and Indianapolis for the annual tournament, which is co-hosted with Palm Beach Atlantic.
 
Sunshine State Conference action begins on the road Sept. 18 at Barry before a trip to Florida Tech the following day. Lynn's conference home opener comes Sept. 25 against Eckerd, followed by Saint Leo on Sept. 26.
 
October features a demanding conference schedule beginning with road matches at Rollins and Embry-Riddle before the Fighting Knights return home for a three-match homestand against Nova Southeastern, Palm Beach Atlantic and Florida Tech. Lynn then travels to Florida Southern, Tampa, Saint Leo and Eckerd before closing the month at home against Embry-Riddle and Rollins.
 
The regular season concludes with four conference contests in November. Lynn travels to Nova Southeastern and Palm Beach Atlantic before returning to Boca Raton for its final homestand of the year, hosting Barry on Nov. 10, Tampa on Nov. 13 and Florida Southern on Nov. 14.
 
NCAA Regional play is scheduled to begin later in November, with the Championship round to follow as the Fighting Knights look to return to NCAA Tournament play.
