LAKELAND, Fla. - The No. 13 Lynn University men's soccer team fell to Florida Southern, 2-1, in Sunshine State Conference action on Saturday night.

Robin Muenst scored the Fighting Knights' lone goal as Lynn outshot the Mocs 14-7, including an 11-5 advantage in the second half.

The Fighting Knights move to 2-1-3 overall and 1-1-0 in SSC play.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Luan Barroso Rennstich created Lynn's first opportunity in the 12th minute, putting a shot on frame that was saved by Florida Southern goalkeeper Ricardo Marques

- Florida Southern opened the scoring at 14:57 when Darcy Moffat found the back of the net off assists from Tim Baierlein and Payton Rausch, 1-0

- Barroso Rennstich added another attempt in the 33rd minute before Fabian Vyhnalek fired wide in the 37th

- The Fighting Knights earned three corner kicks in the opening half but entered the break trailing by one

- Lynn came out aggressively after halftime as Barroso Rennstich forced a save just 49 seconds into the second period

- Barroso Rennstich generated another chance in the 50th minute before Joao Silva sent an attempt over the target less than two minutes later

- Muenst leveled the match at 53:34, scoring to bring the Fighting Knights even at 1-1

- Lynn continued to apply pressure as Dominik N'Gatie and Vyhnalek each recorded shots over the following four minutes

- Florida Southern regained the lead at 59:55 when Joao Lopes scored off an assist from Hector Oliver, 2-1

- Muenst nearly added his second goal in the 70th minute, putting another shot on frame that was stopped by Marques

- Vyhnalek added another attempt in the 77th minute before Joao Pinto fired wide in the 85th

- The Fighting Knights continued pushing for the equalizer in the closing minutes as Barroso Rennstich forced a save at 88:28 before Fabian Wagner sent the final attempt of the match wide with 1:19 remaining
