Biography

Senior (2016-17): Broke program records for three-pointers made in a season (97) and three-pointers made in a game (10)…named the Sunshine State Conference Newcomer of the Year…named to the All-SSC Second Team and the SSC All-Newcomer Team…started and played in 26 of the team’s 27 games…averaged a team-high 33.3 minutes per game…led the team and finished sixth in the league with 16.8 points per game…led the conference and ranked fifth in Division II with 3.73 three-pointers per game…shot 42.1% from the field, 40.6% from long range and 86.3% from the charity stripe (fourth best in the SSC)…scored in double figures in all but three games…recorded seven 20+ point games…scored 30+ in three games…averaged 2.8 assists, 1.8 rebounds and 0.7 steals per game with a 1.5 assist/turnover ratio…originally tied the school record with nine three-pointers as his 31 points (11 in OT) led Lynn to a 102-94 overtime victory over Florida Tech (12/30)…scored 21 points and eight of the team’s final nine, including the game-winning corner trey with under five seconds left in a 70-68 comeback victory over Saint Leo (1/11)…had a career night at FSC (2/18), exploding for a career-high 40 points and setting a school record with 10 three-pointers. His 40 points were the most in a game for an SSC player this season and three shy of the Lynn record…named the SSC Offensive Player of the Week (2/20).

Prior to Lynn: Played at Florida Atlantic University for three seasons where he started 57 games, averaging 11.1 points and shooting 79 percent from the free-throw line...during his sophomore year Botley had a string of 11 straight double-digit games, including three straight 20+ point games, capped off by a 21 point, eight assist effort against North Texas (2/19)...was named to the C-USA All-Freshman Team in his freshman year for the Owls and set FAU's single-season record for assist/turnover ratio (2.27/1).

High School: Went to Prestonwood Christian Academy where he was a first team all-state and all-district player.

Personal: Born Dec. 22, 1994...son of Mike and Wanda Botley…majoring in sports management...enjoys playing video games in his spare time.
