Sophomore (2017-18): Appeared in 21 games…averaged 7.3 minutes and 1.9 points per game…shot a team-best 54.8% from the floor…recorded six points and five rebounds in 14 minutes at Tampa (12/2)…registered a season-high 17 minutes in a win at Florida Southern (1/6).

Freshman (2016-17): Played in all 27 games, making 12 starts…averaged 20.6 minutes per game and logged the fifth-most total minutes on the team…averaged 5.9 points per game and was third on the team with 4.3 rebounds per game…ranked second on the squad in field-goal percentage (50.9)…logged nine blocks, 17 steals and 14 assists…shot 34.1% from beyond the arc…was one of three Fighting Knights to record a double-double on the year…scored a season-high 15 points in three games…logged six games scoring in double figures…made his Lynn debut in the season opener vs Florida Memorial (11/12), recording seven points and seven rebounds on 50% shooting (11/12)…found his way into the starting lineup for a six-game stretch following a 15-point, 12-rebound double-double vs. Florida Tech (12/30) where he went 6-of-8 from the field to go along with two assists, two steals and a block…went 3-of-4 from long range in a 15-point performance in Lynn’s victory over #19 Tampa (1/14).

Prior to Lynn: Attended Florida Atlantic University where he was redshirted on the football team.

High School: Went to Winter Haven High School.

Personal: Born April 23, 1997...son of Cara Nelson-James and Denzil James...has three siblings; alum Lynn women's basketball player Charla Nelson-James, Dorian and Dylan...majoring in biology...enjoys basketball and video games in his spare time.
