R. Freshman (2015): Played in all 15 games for the Fighting Knights in the attack where he scored 14 goals, had five assists and won 10 groundballs…Snellman’s standout season performance came against Ohio Valley where he scored three goals…was named to the Sunshine State Conference All-Freshman Team.

Freshman (2014): Redshirted and did not participate in any contests.

High School: Attended The Salisbury School in Salisbury, Conn., where he played three years of varsity lacrosse for the Crimson Knights under head coach Bobby Wynne…helped Salisbury to a 12-1 record his senior season and a No. 1 rank in the state…he was named a player that impressed by ESPNHS at the 2013 Prep School Lacrosse Showcase.

Personal: Born January 26, 1994…son of John and Kathy Snellman…has an older brother John who played lacrosse at Fairfield University in Connecticut…in his free time he likes to wakeboard, golf and snowboard…lists Jack Johnson as his favorite musician and Florida as his favorite vacation spot…he one day hopes to visit Spain…says Casey Powell is his favorite athlete and his favorite words of wisdom are “You miss 100 percent of the shots you never take” by Wayne Gretsky.
