Biography

R-Senior (2016): Played in 12 games, started in all 12...had one goal, three assists, five points, 10 shots and four which were on goal...scored his first goal since November 21, 2014 to put the Fighting Knights ahead of Auburn-Montgomery 8-0 (9/1)...was named the Olive Garden invitational Most Valuable Defensive Player(9/3)...had his first assist of the year during the Blue and White's home opener against Spring Hill (9/9)... Added an assist to a very important goal in the 2nd half against Nova Southeastern (9/24)...was awarded All-SSC Second Team recognition (11/3)...netted the game winning pk in the Championship match against the Spartans, to give the Fighting Knights their 38th SSC Championship...named the Tournament's Most Outstanding Player, as well as a selection to the SSC All-Tournament team (11/6).

Senior (2015): Did not participate, medically red-shirted.

Junior (2014): Appeared in all 21 games, making 17 starts…tallied one goal and two assists for four points with eight shot attempts…key holding/defensive midfielder which helped team claim the Sunshine State Conference regular season title, SSC Tournament title and 2014 NCAA Division II National Championship…helped defense post a 0.99 goals against average and five shutouts, third best in the SSC…earned his first assist in a 4-1 victory at Eckerd (10/4)…tallied his second assist in the team’s 4-0 win at Nova Southeastern (10/29)…scored his first goal as a member of the Fighting Knights in the third round of the NCAA Tournament, heading in a corner kick in a 3-0 victory against #19 Saint Leo (11/21) on the road… earned SSC Commissioner Honor Roll recognition for earning a 3.2 grade point average or better.

Sophomore (2013): Appeared in 16 games, making 14 starts…recorded seven shots on the season…served as a defensive midfielder… helped team to a Sunshine State Conference-best 0.98 goals against average and 0.50 GAA in league matches…contributed to six shutouts…made debut in a 4-1 victory against Shorter (9/6)…attempted a season-high three shots in a 2-2 draw against Palm Beach Atlantic (9/10)…earned SSC Commissioner Honor Roll recognition for earning a 3.2 grade point average or better.

Freshman (2012):  Attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for two seasons but only participated one year…made 15 starts in 16 games  as a freshman at UWM ... recorded three points on a goal and an assist, taking four shots on the year ... earned first start against Western Illinois (9/2/11) after making Milwaukee debut with 13 minutes against IPFW (9/26/11)... named to the UAB "Soccer for a Cure" Classic All-Tournament Team ... assisted the game-winning goal against Butler (9/24/11)... scored his goal late in the contest against Cleveland State (10/1/11) to help a Panther comeback attempt ... season-high two shots against Wright State (10/15/11)... also had a shot attempt in win over Northern Illinois (11/2/11)... named to the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll.

High School: Played five years of soccer at the high school level at St. Wilfrid... also competed in cross country events during his time.

Personal: Born on January 2, 1993…son of Michael and Margarita Hutchinson... nickname is "Hutchy"...Sports Management major ...career goal is to become a professional...most memorable sports experience was to captain Darlington out against Arsenal in the FA Youth Cup... lists FIFA and gym as hobbies...played club soccer for Darlington FC for three years.
