Junior (2015): Posted a perfect 5-0 record on the mound in 10 appearances and six starts…tossed 44.0 innings on the season with a 4.50 ERA…recorded 29 strikeouts…scored a run as a pinch runner…made his season debut in relief against #6 Columbus St., striking out two batters in one inning of work (2/7)…earned a win in his first start of the season, recording five strikeouts in five innings of work against Southern N.H. (3/4)…notched a season-high seven strikeouts against New Haven (3/18)…pitched seven innings of two-hit ball as the starter in a win over Ave Maria (4/15)…pitched a season-high eight innings in his first career postseason start with five K’s in a win over #6 Albany St. in the NCAA South Region Tournament (5/15).

Sophomore (2014): Appeared in seven games, making one start…went 0-1 with a 12.19 earned run average and six strikeouts in 10.1 innings of work…made first career appearance against Catawba (2/1), allowing four runs on three hits in three innings…made his first career start at St. Thomas (2/18) where he pitched 1.1 innings…struck out two in 1.2 scoreless innings of relief against Winona State (3/8)…tied his season-high with two K’s against top-ranked Tampa (4/26).

Freshman (2013): Played at Triton College…appeared in four games…posted a 2.16 earned-run average with seven strikeouts in 8.1 innings of work.

High School: Attended North Broward Prep…earned three varsity letters in baseball, cross country and track & field.

Personal: Born May 14, 1993…son of Robert and Trish Guarnieri…has one sibling; Richard…sports management major…aspires to work for ESPN or MLB…enjoys exercising, playing guitar and scuba diving in his spare time…favorite book is Ender’s Game…favorite vacation spot is Key West.
