Mark Miller

Mark Miller was elevated to head coach of the Lynn men's lacrosse program prior to the 2023 season after serving as an assistant coach from 2019-22.

In his sophomore season as the head of the program, Miller led the Fighting Knights to a 10-win season including a berth in the SSC Championship Tournament. Lynn's 2025 team was headlined by a strong defensive front that allowed an conference-best 135 goals. The Fighting Knights went on to rank second in the league in goals allowed per game (9.17). Caused Turnovers were the name of the game as the Fighting Knights led the conference by nearly 24 caused turnovers with a combined 174 CTs (11.60 CT/game).

In his first season at the helm, Miller guided Lynn to seven wins with a sixth-place finish in the SSC. The Fighting Knights finished fifth in the league in scoring (202 goals), fourth in goals against average (11.93) and third in penalty killing (.750). The Fighting Knights twice set the single-game scoring record this past spring with 24 goals against Dominican (Mar. 1) and 25 goals against Davis & Elkins (Mar. 9).

Miller arrived at Lynn University in 2019 as the program's defensive and recruiting coordinator.

The Fighting Knight defense paced the SSC in 2020 in saves per game (13.67) and ranked third in goals against average (11.83). In 2021, Lynn finished the season at 6-2 overall and ranked second in the SSC in both goals against average (9.69) and save percentage (.542).

Miller came to Lynn after serving on the lacrosse coaching staff at both Bowdoin and Washington & Lee.

Miller helped Bowdoin to 14 wins over two seasons that included a trip to the NESCAC Tournament quarterfinals.  At W&L (2015-17), Miller helped lead the Generals to one Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) tournament title and one ODAC regular season crown. He was primarily responsible for the goalies and faceoff personnel but assisted in all aspects of the squad, including scouting and recruiting.

Prior to his time at Washington & Lee, Miller served an assistant coach at Colorado College, where the Tigers went 35-14 and advanced to two NCAA Tournaments in his three seasons with the team. Miller was also the head coach of the men's lacrosse program at Texas Christian University from 2008-11 and he has served as the co-director of the Maximum Lacrosse Camps since 2010.

Miller began his collegiate playing career at Ohio Wesleyan in 2000, earning two letters before transferring to Adelphi, where he was a two-time all-conference selection as a goalkeeper.

Miller is married to Molly McGregor from Greenwood Village, Colo.
