Ben Mace joined Lynn University’s athletic communications staff in January 2023. Since arriving, he has covered National Championships in men’s soccer and volleyball and worked with 17 of the university’s 19 teams. His responsibilities span all aspects of Lynn’s athletic website, gameday statistics and operations, video production, photography, and social media.
Before joining the Fighting Knights, Ben spent 14 seasons with the New York Yankees (2008–2021), serving as Managing Executive Producer of Scoreboard and Video and Assistant Director of Scoreboard. While in The Bronx, he directed in-stadium scoreboard shows for Yankees games, NYCFC matches, and the New Era Pinstripe Bowl, earning three Emmy Awards as a producer.
His additional experience includes production and media roles with the Brooklyn Nets, Columbia University (football and basketball), U.S. Department of State (NATO and Summits for Democracy), NFL Draft, Super Bowl, The World Games, and the US Open Tennis Championships.
Ben currently freelances as a video production specialist for the Florida Panthers and Miami Heat.
Originally from Washington, Pa., he earned his bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from West Virginia University with minors in English and Business Management. While at WVU, he served as a team manager for the women’s basketball team.
In his free time, Ben enjoys spending time with his family and playing both real and fantasy sports.
