In the fall of 2021, Devin Mullings was named the assistant coach of both the men's and women's tennis programs at Lynn University.
Mullings brings with him 10 years of program coordination experience and a successful career as a tennis player himself. During his 13-year playing career, he competed in 34 Davis Cup ties, was a competitor at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games, the Junior US Open, the French Open, the Wimbledon Junior Competition and the Pan American Games. He received the honor of being ranked top 20 in the world among juniors and the No. 1 tennis player in the Bahamas from 2000-2014.
He has also been a hitting partner for huge names in the tennis world, such as Cori (Coco) Gauff, a 2017 Junior US Open finalist, Francesca Di Lorenzo, the 2017 US Open Collegiate invitational winner, Sloane Stephens, the 2017 Women's US Open champion, Kevin Anderson, a 2017 Men's US Open finalist, Sofia Kenin, a semi-finalist at the 2019 Rogers Cup, Emiliana Arrango, a 2017 Junior US Open semifinalist, DJ Thomas, a 2017 US Open quarterfinalist and Eugenie Bouchard, a 2014 Wimbledon finalist.
Mullings played collegiate tennis at Ohio State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in communications.
