Lynn University

Milewski web head 24

Adam Milewski

Adam Milewski was hired as Lynn University’s eighth head volleyball coach on July 13, 2015 and he is the program’s second-winningest coach with nearly 150 wins.

In eight seasons at the helm, Milewski boasts 148 wins (.630), 86 wins in the Sunshine State Conference (.593) with six NCAA Tournament appearances.

The Fighting Knights have won 20 or more matches in four of those eight seasons, while the 2019 squad won a program record 28 matches and hosted the NCAA Regional. This past year, Lynn ranked 25th in the AVCA Preseason Coaches Poll and won 14 of its last 16 matches en route to the program’s first-ever NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 appearance.

Starting with the 2019 team, the Fighting Knights have totaled 97 wins equaling the best four-year stretch in the 27-year history of the program.

The individual accolades are just as impressive under Milewski's leadership as his Fighting Knights’ have totaled 21 All-SSC awards and 10 players earned a total of 12 AVCA All-American honors. Three of Milewski's student-athletes have also named an Academic All-American.

Prior to taking over as Lynn’s head coach, Milewski served as an assistant for Lynn for three seasons, training middle blockers and assisting in practice and scouting. The results of his training paid off as the Fighting Knights had middle blockers earn spots on the All-SSC Second Team in consecutive seasons.

In his first season as an assistant in 2010, Lynn won 21 matches and appeared in the NCAA Tournament.

In 2003, Milewski graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. Prior to graduating, he attended the University of Florida where he played middle blocker for their nationally-ranked club team. He also played volleyball in high school at Olympic Heights.
