Adam Milewski was hired as Lynn University’s eighth head volleyball coach on July 13, 2015, and has built one of the most successful eras in Fighting Knights volleyball history.
During his tenure, Milewski has compiled a 203–100 overall record, becoming the winningest coach in program history. He reached a major milestone in the 2025 season, earning his 200th career victory with a 3-0 win over Florida Southern on November 14. His leadership culminated in Lynn Volleyball’s first national championship in 2024, elevating the program to national prominence and establishing a championship-caliber culture.
Under Milewski’s guidance, the Fighting Knights have consistently competed among the nation’s elite. Lynn has recorded six 20-win seasons, highlighted by a program-record 33 victories in 2024. The program hosted NCAA Regionals in both 2019 and 2024 and amassed 152 wins over a six-year span beginning in 2019 - the most successful stretch in program history.
Team success has translated into significant individual recognition. Milewski has mentored 31 All-Sunshine State Conference selections, while 15 student-athletes have combined for 19 AVCA All-American honors. Three players have earned Academic All-American distinction, reflecting the emphasis he places on excellence both on the court and in the classroom.
Milewski’s impact has also been recognized at the conference and regional levels. During Lynn’s historic 2024 campaign, he earned Sunshine State Conference Coach of the Year and AVCA South Region Coach of the Year honors while leading the Fighting Knights to their second conference championship under his leadership.
His connection to Lynn Volleyball began prior to his head coaching tenure. Milewski served three seasons as an assistant coach, helping guide the Fighting Knights to a 21-win NCAA Tournament appearance in 2010 while developing middle blockers who earned consecutive All-SSC honors.
A South Florida native, Milewski earned his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Florida Atlantic University in 2003. Prior to graduating, he attended the University of Florida, where he competed as a middle blocker for the nationally ranked club team. He also played high school volleyball at Olympic Heights.
Beyond wins and accolades, Milewski has fostered a culture of accountability, growth, and pride that continues to shape Lynn Volleyball, emphasizing player development, competitive excellence, and championship success.
