Junior (2019): Appeared in 28 matches (73 sets) with three starts…totaled 70 kills, 51 digs, and 25 block assists during her junior campaign…season-best 14 kills vs. West Georgia (10/19)…named to the SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
Prior to Lynn: Played for two years at Cowley College...set the school record for career kills (1,182)...was a two-time All-American from both the AVCA and NJCAA.
Sophomore (2018): Selected AVCA First Team All-America, NJCAA First Team All-America, First Team All-District, First Team All-Conference, NJCAA National Player of the Week, KJCCC Offensive Player of the Week four times, and was selected Cowley Athlete of the Month...finished the season with 658 kills at 4.54 kills per set, a .347 hitting percentage, 40 service aces at 0.28 aces per set, and 390 digs at 2.69 digs per set...her 658 kills placed her third in the nation, her .347 placed her 24th in the nation, and she was third nationally in total points with 745.5 points...she was also second in the region in total kills, second in the region in kills per set, 14th in the region in total service aces, and second in the region in hitting percentage... her 658 kills in 2018 placed her first in Cowley history in kills in a season and her 1,182 career kills ranks her first all-time in Cowley history.
Freshman (2017): Played in 149 sets...recorded 524 kills, a .384 hitting percentage, 324 digs, 73 service aces, and 61 blocks...NJCAA First Team All-American, AVCA Third Team All-American, First Team All-District, KJCCC First Team All-Conference, KJCCC Offensive Player of the Week once, Cowley College October Athlete of the Month, Iowa Central Triton All-Tournament Team...NJCAA Second Team All-Academic.
High School: Prepped at Pale High School Center where she played five sports that included volleyball, football (soccer), handball, basketball, and track...in volleyball, she was named MVP, Offensive Player of the Year, First Team All-State, First Team All-Star, Finals MVP, and Top 10 Best Athlete of the community her senior year...also was honored to train on the junior national team where she trained for 10 days and selected to play for 12 days this summer for the national team...during her junior year, Kusmuk was named Offensive Player of the Year, First Team All-State, and was honored to be named Top 10 Promising Athletes in the country...led her team to much success with her team qualifying to the Premier League and winning a National Championship her senior year, winning second place in the Premier League her freshmen year, and winning numerous tournaments.
