Women's Tennis Hooks Sailfish

BOCA RATON, Fla.—Lynn University's top-ranked women's tennis team cruises through the Palm Beach Atlantic University Sailfish 8-1 in regional play on Thursday.

The No. 5 doubles team put Lynn (3-0) on the board first with an 8-1 win in the top doubles flight versus Veena Vasquez and Leydi Zora. In number two doubles, Ana Kriz and Kim Przeszlowski defeated PBA's Victoria Baca and Natalia Trotter 8-6 while Aleks Vukadinovic and Andrea Berkova finished things off for the Fighting Knights with an 8-5 victory in the third doubles flight over Alexis Antista and Jessica Wharton.

Lynn's fifth-ranked Ivan dropped Vasquez 6-2, 6-2 in singles and No. 30 Berkova posted a 6-3, 6-1 win at number two singles.

In the third singles flight, Krause fell to Zora on a third pro-set 2-6, 6-3, 10-7 while Kriz tallied a 6-2, 6-3 win at number four over Trotter.

Przeszlowski defeated Antista 6-1, 6-2 at number five singles as Vukadinovic amassed a three set win, 4-6, 6-4, 10-4, versus Wharton at the sixth singles flight to conclude the Lynn victory.
