Djoubri captures ITA All-American Honors in DII Singles

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Lynn University women's tennis standout Salma Djoubri has earned Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-American honors in NCAA Division II women's singles following one of the most dominant seasons in the country.

Djoubri, a native of Caudebec Les Elbeuf, France, captured All-American honors after putting together an elite campaign at the top of the Fighting Knights' lineup. She ranked No. 2 nationally in the ITA singles rankings and posted a 12-1 record while playing every match at the No. 1 flight.

Her season featured several marquee victories against some of the top programs in Division II, including wins over opponents from No. 1 Barry, No. 3 Embry-Riddle, No. 8 Mississippi College, No. 20 Valdosta State and No. 24 Wingate.

The national honor adds to an already decorated season for Djoubri, who was named Sunshine State Conference Player of the Year after establishing herself as one of the premier singles players in the nation.
