CLEARWATER, Fla.- The No. 4 Lynn University women's tennis team swept Eckerd 9-0 in its first conference victory of the season Sunday morning. All three doubles teams defeated their Tritons counterparts 8-0 to take an early 3-0 lead in the match. 

No. 10 in the country, Valentine Confalonieri won her singles match in sets of 6-0, 6-1. Junior Ioana Ivan, who ranks 15th in singles, defeated Hawn in sets of 6-2, 6-1. Kim Przeszlowski won in sets of 6-1 and 6-0. Andrea Berkova defeated Bullock 6-0, 6-1, while Alina Jane and Ana Kriz both won their singles matches in sets of 6-0, 6-2.

The Fighting Knights move to 2-0 on the season, 1-0 in Sunshine State Conference play. LU will host SSC foe Rollins on Saturday, February 16.
