BOCA RATON, Fla.-Lynn University's men's tennis team advanced to 6-0 on the season after a 9-0 victory over Palm Beach Atlantic. The No. 3 Fighting Knights have now beaten four opponents, 9-0, this season. LU was led by No. 17 Vlad Cirla, who defeated Mark Heimberger in two sets of 6-2. On the Doubles end, the duo of Max Kouyate and Pavel Mojha secured an 8-2 win over Heimberger and partner Matt Leeds.
Kouyate picked up a singles win over Asti Adams in sets of 6-2 and 6-4. No. 28 Alessio Iannozzi won 6-2, 6-0 while Mojha picked up a 6-0, 6-2 win against Nicholas Battistini. Newcomers Simon Gloeckner and Giulio Gomba picked up singles victories as well.
Iannozzi and Gloeckner teamed up for a sweep of Michael Leonard and Michael Tsoi, 8-0. Gomba and Cirla took down Adams and Battistini, 8-3, to round out doubles play.
