BOCA RATON, Fla.- Lynn University's women's tennis team bounced back with a 6-3 victory over Palm Beach Atlantic on Tuesday night. No. 10 Valentine Confalonieri led the Fighting Knights with a 6-0, 6-1, singles victory over Veena Vasquez. Confalonieri teamed up with Ioana Ivan, to form the third best doubles squad in the country. The two picked up their fifth victory with an 8-2 win over Vasquez and Victoria Baca.
Lynn trailed 2-1 after doubles competition. No. 15 Ivan defeated Baca in sets of 6-2 and 6-1 in singles before Alina Jane had a third set win over Natalia Trotter. After dropping the first set, 6-2, Jane came back to win the next two sets 6-4 and 6-2. A 6-4, 6-2, singles victory from Aleks Vukadinovic secured the win for LU. Ana Kriz also picked up a 6-1, 6-4 win over Vilja Vahatalo.
