Valdosta, Ga.- Lynn University's women's tennis team, ranked eighth in the nation, picked up a 8-1 victory over Valdosta on Friday. The regional match, extended LU's win streak to four. Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week, Valentine Confalonieri led the Fighting Knights with a 6-4, 6-2 singles victory. The win extends No. 10 Confalonieri's undefeated streak on the season. Junior Ioana Ivan teamed up with Confalonieri to form the No. 3 doubles team for an 8-2 win. 

No. 7 doubles duo Andrea Berkova and Kim Przeszlowski extended LU's lead to 2-0 after an 8-4 win. Ana Kriz and freshman Alina Jane secured the doubles sweep with an 8-4 doubles win in the number three spot. 

No. 15 Ivan rolled solo for a 6-1, 6-2 singles victory while Berkova, Przeszlowski, and Kriz also picked up wins. Jane was defeated by her Blazers counterpart in a third set, 10-8.
