Boca Raton, Fla.- Lynn University's women's tennis team defeated Division III Amherst College, 7-2, on Wednesday night. The eighth ranked Fighting Knights took a 2-1 lead after doubles play. Third ranked duo, Ioana Ivan and Valentine Confalonieri came from behind to win in the number one singles spot. Ivan and Confalonieri also picked up singles victories on their own. 

Andrea Berkova was the first singles player to finish for the Blue and White, to put LU ahead, 3-1. Wins from Confalonieri and Ivan gave LU its fourth and fifth points to secure the win. Przeszlowski and Ana Kriz also added singles victories for the Blue and White.

Amherst, ranked second in Division III, picked up its second point of the match when Caoline Richman took Lynn's Alina Jane to a tough third set.
