Daytona Beach, Fla.- Lynn University's men's tennis team finished the regular season 15-5 after a 5-1 loss to Embry Riddle on Sunday afternoon. The Eagles , who top the NAIA polls, took a 2-1 lead after doubles play. Luca Pignatelli and Pavel Mojha picked up the only doubles win for the Fighting Knights with a 8-2 victory.
Deni Zmak defeated Vlad Cirla in two sets of 6-3 at the number one singles spot for the 3-1 lead. After Pignatelli won doubles he dropped singles in two sets of 6-2 to David Spennare which put Embry Riddle within one point of a victory. When Max Kouyate retired in the number two spot, Chris Freeman was awarded the victory.
The Blue and White, who rank fourth nationally in Division II will head to post season play on April 18-20 in the Sunshine State Conference Championship Tournament hosted by Florida Tech at South County Regional Park in Boca Raton, Fla.
