Tampa, Fla. – A late rally from a 2-0 deficit came up short as Lynn University's women's soccer team fell 3-1 to the University of Tampa on Wednesday night.

• Tampa's Miranda Gonzalez scored in the 13th minute to put the Fighting Knights down 1-0.
• Caroline Duerr scored her fourth goal of the season in the 83rd minute to cut the deficit to 2-1.
• Tampa scored two minutes later from Cici Gonzalez to end the game 3-1.
