- Lynn went after Florida Tech aggressively in the opening minutes and the aggressive strategy paid off with a corner kick and shot attempt from Claudia Kraut.
- A tough foul from the Fighting Knights defense went the wrong way as a Panther was tripped up inside the penalty box. Keira McCarthy knocked down the attempt to give Florida Tech a 1-0 lead in the 31st minute.
- The Blue & White continued their aggressive play in the second half, recording seven corner kicks and attempting seven shots but could not penetrate the Panther's defense.
