Box Score Daytona Beach, Fla. - Lynn University's women's soccer team was edged 1-0 by Embry-Riddle in on the road Saturday night. Alexa Downie stopped five shots in the Fighting Knights eighth match decided by one goal or less.

- Embry-Riddle found the back of the net just 2:04 into play for the game-winning goal. Isabelle Haaranen would volley her attempt off the match's first corner kick for the deciding score.
- Lynn would be held with only one shot in the opening half but found some offense in the second half.
- The Fighting Knights made a late push with several shots on goal but the final attempt in the 89th minute from Amber Agrillo was stopped by Eagles goal keeper Fanny Kristiansson.

- Lynn was outshot 12-5 overall but was even 3-3 in corner kicks with Embry-Riddle.
