HOW IT HAPPENED:
- A solo home run from Tiffany Osmanski put Rollins ahead 1-0 in the opening inning.
- An error and wild pitch in the third frame, followed by a single from Chelsea Reed gave Rollins a 3-0 advantage.
- A two-out dropped fly ball extended the fifth and Rollins added another run, this time off a Brianne Lint double, to increase its lead to 4-0.
- The final run came in the seventh from Lynn's third error of the game.
STATS FROM THE GAME:
- Olexa tossed seven innings with five runs allowed, two earned, on 12 hits with a pair of walks and five strikeouts.
- Rollins' Niki Fogle pitched a six-hit complete game shutout with 11 strikeouts.
- Olexa went 2-for-4 from the plate while Sara Vazquez also had a multi-hit game (2-for-3).
- Lynn stranded 10 runners on base.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- Victoria Rios threw out Rollins' Chelsea Reed at third base attempting to steal in the first inning, the first time Reed has been thrown out all year.
- Olexa collected her 17th consecutive complete game and tied a season-high with five strikeouts.
- Rios recorded two sacrifice bunts, marking the second time this year a Lynn softball player had two sac bunts in a game.
- Vazquez notched her ninth multi-hit game of the season while Olexa recorded her sixth.
- The Fighting Knights welcomed the Coral Springs Panthers U12 and U10 softball teams.
