HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Barry played aggressively from the onset with Downie forced to make two saves in the early-goings.
- The Buccaneers grabbed the 1-0 advantage in the 16th minute when Sarah Wignall was able to score off a deflection from a shot by Amanda Traynor.
- Barry then took a 2-0 lead into the locker room following a give-and-go goal by Carissa Sanchez in the 44th minute of play.
- A save from Downie led off the second half and the Buccaneers would go on to hit the post and crossbar over the next two minutes.
- Lynn found some space in the attack midway through the second half but was turned away by Paula Forero.
STATS OF THE GAME:
- Lynn was outshot 19-5 and the Bucs held a 6-0 advantage in corner kicks.
- Downie stopped six shots while her counterpart Forero made four saves.
