Box Score Tampa, Fla. – The Lynn University women's soccer team's road woes continued on Saturday night, as the Fighting Knights fell to Tampa by a final of 3-0 in a Sunshine State Conference matchup at Pepin Field.

STATS OF THE GAME:
- Tampa got on the board twice in the first half, scoring in the 27th and 32nd minutes to take a two-goal lead into the break. Emily Cady notched the first score, followed by a goal from Robyn-Anne Whittaker.
- The Spartans added an insurance goal in the second half, as they scored in the 53rd minute.
- Alexa Downie made three saves in the contest, each of them coming in the first half of action.
- Valentina Pedretti led the way with three total shots, and was one of five players with a shot on goal for the Blue and White.
- Donish Henry-Cole and Jamie Perriello each had a pair of shot attempts in the contest.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- Pedretti ripped a shot off the crossbar in the 10th minute of the game.
- Lynn has now dropped four straight games overall, including three consecutive road games. The Fighting Knights are 2-5 on the road this season, while posting a 3-2 mark on their home turf.
