Box Score Valdosta, Ga. – Lynn University's women's basketball team held the edge at halftime on Sunday and boasted the lead for a good majority of the contest but an aggressive second-half effort from host Valdosta State University allowed the Blazers to gain the advantage with under five minutes to go before downing the Fighting Knights in South Region action, 73-62.

- Paola Vazquez Concepcion led her squad in scoring yet again, shooting 5-of-12 from the field with two triples for 12 points. She tacked on three rebounds, two assists and a steal.
- Aside from 11 points, Jaylen Snipes filled out the stat sheet with a career-high five steals, a team-high six assists and the second block of her career.
- Mariah Penascino shot 50% (4-8) from the field and rounded out Lynn's trio in double figures, finishing with 10 points, three assists and a team-high-tying six boards.
- Kelsi Fizer (six points, six rebounds) and Juju Uloma (six points, five rebounds) provided quality minutes off the bench.
- VSU's Taylor Buie led all players on the floor with 19 points behind a 3-for-5 effort from long range.
