Savannah, Ga. – The third-ranked Lynn University women's tennis team bested a Top-15 opponent for the second time this season on Friday afternoon as the Fighting Knights posted a 5-0 victory over eighth-ranked Columbus State.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- All three flights of doubles were a battle, but the Blue and White succeeded across the board.
- No. 1 ranked Diana Bogolii/Rosalie Willig won at the top flight, 8-6, Martina Gledacheva/Grace Mpassy posted an identical tally at No. 2 while Tereza Hejlova/Carolina Cuevas grinded out a 9-7 triumph at No. 3.
- The Fighting Knights needed just two quick wins in singles play to secure the win.
- 23rd-ranked Mpassy notched a straight-set win at No. 2 singles (6-2, 6-1) with 39th-ranked Stefanie Stemmer sealing the deal at No. 5 in straight sets (6-2, 6-3).
- 12th-ranked Bogolii was up a set at No. 1, Gledacheva was toe-to-toe with 27th-ranked Camila Tobar at No. 4 and Hejlova picked up a set at No. 6 before the match was called.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- Lynn defeated CSU 5-0 for the second consecutive year.
