BOCA RATON, Fla. – Following a successful road trip over the weekend, the third-ranked Lynn University women's tennis team returned to its home courts on Thursday afternoon, defeating 36th-ranked Embry-Riddle, 5-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn set the tone early with dominate doubles play.
- Diana Bogolii/Rosalie Willig and Grace Mpassy/Stefanie Stemmer each posted 8-1 victories at the top two flights with Tereza Hejlova and Carolina Cuevas winning at No. 3, 8-3.
- The Fighting Knights needed just two quick wins at the top singles positions from their ranked players to close out the win.
- 23rd-ranked Mpassy handled Georgia Wood in straight sets at No. 2 (6-1, 6-0) before 12th-ranked Bogolii claimed victory at the top flight against Maud Mrad, 6-2, 6-0.
- 39th-ranked Stemmer was nearing in on victory at No. 3.
- The final three flights were never started.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- The Eagles are 1-5 on the year, but three of their losses have come against Top-15 teams and one was against Division I Bethune-Cookman.
- Dating back to 2005, Lynn has never lost to Embry-Riddle.
