Orlando, Fla. – Lynn University's softball team went toe-to-toe with another nationally-ranked opponent, holding a one-run lead for much of the game but came up short to 17th-ranked Armstrong Atlantic, 4-3, on Sunday afternoon.

STATS OF THE GAME:

• Francais Olexa paced the Blue & White at the plate with a 2-for-3 performance while tallying the only run for the team.
• Mackenzie Wyatt and Erin Sundook also collected hits for the Fighting Knights.
• Armstrong Atlantic out hit Lynn 11-4.
• Olexa surrendered four runs, three earned, on 11 hits but also fanned seven batters.

BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:

• Olexa logged her second multi-hit game in the last three contests.
• This is the second ranked opponent the Fighting Knights have played this year (Alabama-Huntsville) with the squad going 1-2 in those contests.
